OK the summer is here and we are still playing some hockey but how do we keep the fitness levels up?
Starting in June will be the 'not very good at running club'. This is aimed at those of us who know we need to loose a little poundage over the summer and also build our fitness levels but find it difficult to get motivated on our own.
We will stat with a 2 mile ‘ish’ run twice a week building up to a 5 mile run after a month or so. This appears to be too far I hear you say but just come along and I am sure we can help each other build up to running for about half an hour at a time.
I will start the sessions at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This may change depending on summer league games but I will update the web site. Please log in and check out the new running section which will detail the route, time and date for each run. I will also give a rough distance each week.
