As last year, this season will see us running 6 men’s teams, 2 ladies teams along with junior sides and mixed teams. You will find there is a team for players of all abilities, if you can run and swing a hockey stick I’m sure one of our coaches can get you up to scratch. Following the success of our ever expanding youth section and our ability to attract new players, last year saw us field a sixth Men’s team. As a consequence, this season sees our Men’s fifth team join the Midlands League and we can now also offer a wide range of league hockey for all abilities.

Last season was fantastic, with the top four men’s teams gaining promotion from their leagues. The Men’s first team will be competing in the Midlands Premier Division, one step away from the National League.

The Ladies season was not quite so successful, with the 1st team relegated from Midlands Premier, but with a new coach for the coming season their ambition is to bounce straight back up again. The Ladies 2nd team consolidated well in the Staffordshire League.

The move to the 45 club has been a tremendous success, with the number of people coming back to the clubhouse after the game on the increase. It is not just players that are coming back to the clubhouse after the games, but also spectators, which has helped create a friendly and family atmosphere in the bar. More social events are planned for the coming season - Have it away North Staffords!
