North Stafford Hockey Club

North Stafford Men's 2s play in Midlands NW6 and head into the 2024/25 season looking to build on last year's mid-table finish. The side has regularly featured in the upper echelons of the league but has failed to capitalise on the opportunity to grasp promotion.

There is renewed optimism this season though with a settled squad being strengthened by further additions to the squad. Experienced Dave Washington continues as captain, and there is a determination to resume a push for promotion and improve on the near misses of recent seasons.

The 2s also plays a key role in developing players to go on and play 1st team hockey in the future, whilst also acting as one of the club's performance teams itself. Aided by a nucleus of experienced senior players and the coaching support of Head Coach Kevin Heath, the side has high hopes of kicking on further in the future.
