North Stafford Hockey Club

The Women's 1st XI will play the 2024/25 season in Midlands Division 3 North West. The side has floated between this league and the highly competitive Division 2 in recent years, with promotions and relegations between the two leagues.

Last season ended in relegation. but with Libby Wallbank joining as Head of Women's Hockey, there is the ambition to bounce back in the 2024/25 season. The Women's 1st XI remains a very young side and one with a huge amount of potential for the future. The side comprises of a number of North Stafford juniors, whilst it also possesses an excellent social atmosphere. Emily Dulson is joined as joint captain this year by one of our former juniors, Zara Jones, and together they will be aiming for a successful campaign.

The Women's 1st XI are also very fortunate to be coached by our excellent Women's Head Coach Sarah Ralphs, who boasts considerable National League coaching experience with Cannock. Long-term the aim is to push back through the Midlands Leagues to be able to challenge with some of the top teams in the region once again.
