About the team
The Women's 2nd XI provides an excellent platform for players to develop with a number pushing on to reach our 1st team over recent years. The side play in Midlands Divsion 4 North West, where they have been for the past few seasons. The last three years have seen 5th place, 3rd place and 9th place finishes. Last year's 9th place was a little disappointing after narrowly missing our on promotion by goal difference the year before, but the side will be aiming for a stronger season in 2024/25.
The side has a strong sense of togetherness, good commitment to training and matchdays and benefits from the coaching of Sarah Ralphs. Like many across the club, the side contains a large number of talented young players who receive excellent guidance and support from the senior members of the squad.
