Our Boys u14s act as the first step of genuine 11-a-side junior performance hockey for the boys. The aim at this age group is to develop a team that will play together and thrive as they progress through the age groups, and the club places significant emphasis on ensuring that player development is at the forefront with this age group.

The vast majority also play either Badgers on a Saturday or for our senior teams, whilst our u14s have weekly age group junior sessions on Tuesday with Dave Washington and can attend Men's training from the age of 13.

In 2023/24, the Boys u14s entered at Tier 1 level for the first time, performing brilliantly and narrowly missing out on qualification for the Supra-Leagues by one goal. Added to that they progressed all the way to the Tier 1 Plate Semi-Final, where they were beaten 5-3 by Trojans. This built on the success of the previous year where, the boys reached the Tier 2 Cup Semi-Finals and won the Tier 2 Midlands Leagues.

In 2024/25, the squad will again compete at Tier 1 level, providing opportunity for our juniors to compete at the highest standard. The squad is likely to be a young one with lots of Year 8 players, which bodes promisingly for the future. It is hoped that with the growth of numbers, that we will be able to field two u14s teams and guest players are welcomed into this age group.
