About the team
Our Girls u14s programme has continued to develop and strengten over recent years, with excellent success in the 2023/24 season. Last year, the girls reached the Tier 2 Cup Semi-Final where they were narrowly beaten by Khalsa Leamington and remained unbeaten throughout their Midlands League Campaign. Beyond this the Girls also went on a pre-season tour to the Isle of Man and played at the Derby Indoor Grand Slam.
Many of those girls progress to u16s, but a new group of girls will look to continue their successes at u14s this season. Once again the girls will be playing at Tier 2 level, entering both the Midlands Leagues and the England Hockey Tier 2 Cup.
Liz Baldock will be coordinating and running the u14s programme, whilst age group coaching will be provided on a weekly basis. From the age of 13, the girls will also be able to train at the Women's training sessions.
